MICHAEL BLEVINS: Director-Choreographer

Blevins is an accomplished Director/Choreographer having choreographed the Off-Broadway production of "The Mad Forest" for the Manhattan Theatre Club and several national TV commercials for "Days Inn", plus music videos for redording artists Melba Moore and Amy Grant. Most recently he directed and choreographed the NYC revival of "Seesaw", and his original musical "Count To Ten" at the Connelly Theatre. Other favorite New York productions include "Quick Curtains" at the 14th Street Theatre, and the aacclaimed "Miss Evers Boys" for the Red Fern Theatre Company.

He has lent his choreographic assistance to a long list of network television specials including "How To Be A Man" with Scott Baio for CBS and "The Country Music Awards" with Charlie Daniels and Barbara Mandrell for NBC. He has Directed and Choreographed the National Tours of "Babes In Toyland", "Aladdin", and "Tom Sawyer" for the American Family Theatre as well as the "aftermath" social awareness one-act currently touring high school in the Tri-State area.

He was also comissioned to direct "American Sampler: 100 Years of Musical Theatre Dance" for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center as part of their state-wide Theatre Academy for public school children. Other favorite regional productions include "The Subject Was Roses", and most recently "The RoundAbout Inn" at the Centenary Stage Company YPW.

Blevins is also the Co-Founder and Artistic Director for the Group Theatre Too a New York based theatre collective.
