MICHAEL BLEVINS: Education that makes a dramatic difference!
Blevins is a noted teacher of professional and non-professional dancers and actors and has sustained an international teaching career for close to 35 years. In addition to his technical knowledge, Blevins brings a wealth of practical experience to the classroom with his extensive performing credits that include the Broadway stage, Television and Major Motion Pictures.
He runs professional performing arts workshops in many disciplines including:

Along with Gwen Verdon, Michael Blevins co-founded the MTW Academy the first young people's Musical Theatre program run by a professional Off-Broadway theatre company and is also credited with giving the Fosse family grandchildren their first private lessons.
Blevins developed New Jersey's noted Centenary Young Performers' Workshop repertory-style training program that has been hailed by the Star Ledger as, "A State Treasure". The Young Performers' Workshop is a professional musical theatre training program housed by the Centenary Stage Company a professional Equity theatre in residence at Centenary College, Hackettstown, NJ and features weekend Fall/Spring sessions and a Summer Intensive. Blevins has served as Director of the program since 1992.
Blevins has created numerous programs of various scope and range including in-school programs featuring full-scale musical theatre and play production, group studio programs, university & college master-classes, presentations and private instruction.
